Johnathyn is an international designer with a passion for products and services that elevate the quality of human life. He works with forward-thinking businesses, institutions and cities through innovation strategy and human centered design, to create design solutions that establish new markets, and opportunities for social and environmental advancement.
His career in design started in Japan, where he worked as a product designer at Olympus on future concepts for image capture and memory sharing. Since then he has worked with Philips Healthcare to lead ethnography and design on breakthrough solutions in respiratory health for the Japanese market. Following, Johnathyn worked with Yves Béhar, Roo Rogers, and the team at Fuseproject developing products for the future connected home.
Johnathyn holds a Double Masters in Innovation Design and Mechanical Engineering from the Royal College of Art, and the Imperial College of Engineering, London, and BA in Industrial Design from Rhode Island School of Design.
